House begins farm bill rule debate, amendments listed

The House of Representatives has begun debate on the rule governing amendments on the farm bill, and debates and votes on the amendments are expected this afternoon.

The first votes are expected between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., according to a notice published by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va.

The last votes are expected between 5:30 and 7 p.m.

A Democratic aide said there may be more debate on amendments after that round of votes, but that votes on those amendments would be delayed until Thursday morning.

Cantor also released a list of the 103 amendments to be considered. The rule for debate and the list of amendments may be found here.
