CFTC to hold ag advisory meeting Thursday

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission will convene a meeting of its agricultural advisory committee on Thursday to discuss the Dodd-Frank Act, including customer protection and to hear a presentation on trading of ethanol/Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).
The agricultural advisory committee is sponsored by CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler, and the meeting will be chaired by Randall Fortenbery of Washington State University.
The meeting is open to the public, and will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the first floor conference center at the CFTC headquarters, 1155 21st St. NW in Washington. The meeting will be recorded and available for viewing on the CFTC website.
