Senate panel to hold Homeland Security hearing

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will hold a hearing next Wednesday titled “The Department of Homeland Security at 10 Years: Examining Challenges and Achievements and Addressing Emerging Threats.”

The establishment of DHS included moving border food safety inspection and the USDA employees who do it to that department.

The hearing will be held in Room 342 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building at 10 a.m.
