Scuse: Farm bill needed to keep up exports

Noting that U.S. agricultural exports set a record $140.9 billion in agricultural exports for fiscal year 2013, Agriculture Undersecretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services said Thursday that Congress needs to pass a new farm bill that reauthorizes trade promotion programs.

The Agriculture Department also released a blog post highlighting Food Export-Midwest’s use of the export promotion program to increase exports.
