AP: White House involved in Sherrod ouster

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack was waiting for White House direction in the 2010 ouster of Shirley Sherrod, the Georgia rural development official who was falsely accused of racist statements, according to emails revealed in a court case, the Associated Press reported Monday.
