Clinton Little Rock event to feature food bank

A five-day event celebrating 10 years of President Bill Clinton's presidential library in Little Rock this month will feature two events benefitting the Arkansas Foodbank.

Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and their daughter, Chelsea, will host the celebration at the Clinton Presidential Center in November 14 to 18.

In addition to a symposium on the Clinton administration’s accomplishments and a session called “No Ceilings,” about community-based solutions to advance economic opportunity for women and families locally and globally, the events will include an evening of music and storytelling.

That event on November 15, in partnership with the Arkansas Foodbank, will admit everyone who brings a donation of canned food or nonperishable items to help feed the hungry through the holidays.

On November 16, friends, family, alumni, foundation staff volunteers and supporters, Clinton School students, and others will participate in a Day of Action for Little Rock, also benefitting the Arkansas Foodbank, according to a news release from the Clinton foundation.

The Clinton Foundation Day of Action program was established and is led by Chelsea Clinton.
