Crop Life America hires Janet Collins

Crop Life America has hired Janet Collins as senior vice president of science and regulatory affairs, effective January 5.
Collins has served as global biotechnology manager and senior manager of corporate regulatory affairs at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company for nine years. Before joining duPont in 2005, she was the director and lead for global regulatory organizations for Monsanto.
Collins received a bachelor of science degree and master of science degree in experimental foods and nutrition from the University of Georgia, Athens and a doctoral degree in animal science from the University of Wyoming, Laramie.
She is a registered dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Collins will report to senior vice president and general counsel Rachel Lattimore, CLA said in a news release.
CLA member companies produce, sell and distribute crop protection, pest management and biotechnology products.
