Senate Ag takes up commodity title; others closed

The Senate Agriculture Committee has closed all titles of the farm bill except the commodity title, which it has just taken up.
Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., has just said the Senate has a vote at 3:25 p.m. and that she sees no reason the committee cannot complete its business by then.
Stabenow and Senate Agriculture Committee ranking member Pat Roberts, R-Kan., have also scheduled a news conference immediately following the final vote today.
