Before joining the NAWG, DeMarchi was director of government affairs at the North American Millers’ Association. Earlier in her career, she focused on economic development and trade promotion, first with the state of Ohio and then with the Commerce Department in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
DeMarchi earned a bachelor of arts degree in Asian studies at Dartmouth College and studied in Taipei, Taiwan.
ASTA’s membership consists of about 750 companies involved in seed production and distribution, plant breeding, and related industries in North America. Its mission is to enhance the development and free movement of quality seed worldwide.
