Bode to head Corn Refiners Association

Washington attorney John Bode will become president and CEO of the Corn Refiners Association on May 6.
He succeeds Audrae Erickson, who joined the Washington office of Mead Johnson.
Bode has his own law practice and previously was a principal at what is now the OFW Law firm.
He served on the Senate Agriculture Committee staff and held three presidential appointments at the Agriculture Department.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from George Mason University School of Law.
The CRA’s member companies are Archer Daniels Midland Company, Cargill Inc., Ingredion, Inc., Penford Products Co., Roquette America, Inc., and Tate & Lyle Americas. The companies make starches, sweeteners, and products that are used for paper, pharmaceuticals, ethanol, and animal feed, among many others.
