Helen Dombalis
Helen Dombalis, the policy associate for marketing, food systems and rural development at the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition for the past two years, has become the policy and strategic partnerships director for the National Farm to School Network.

She also serves as policy co-chair for the American Public Health Association’s Food and Environment Working Group.

A native of Raleigh, N.C., Dombalis reqceived masters degrees in public health and social work from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Farm to School connects schools and local farms with the objectives of serving healthy meals in school cafeterias, improving student nutrition, providing agriculture, health and nutrition education opportunities, and supporting local and regional farmers.
