Former officials endorse Obama food aid proposal

Former Agriculture secretaries Ann Veneman and Dan Glickman and former U.S. Agency for International Development administrators Andrew Natsios and Brian Atwood are among the prominent officials who have signed an endorsement of President Barack Obama’s proposal to change the U.S. food aid program.

The endorsement was organized by Catherine Bertini, the former U.N. World Food Program executive director who is now a professor at Syracuse University and associated with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
