SNA names Patricia Montague CEO

The School Nutrition Association’s board of directors today named Patricia Montague as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Montague has served SNA in various positions for 20 years, and has been acting CEO for five months. She previously served as chief operating officer for nine years.
SNA represents 55,000 school nutrition professionals nationwide. The association was founded in 1946, the year the National School Lunch Act was passed, as the American School Food Service Association. The group, which lobbies on behalf of school meals and nutrition, changed its name in 2004.
