Senate Judiciary Committee immigration hearing today

United Farm Workers President Arturo Rodriguez and National Council of Farmer Co-operatives President Chuck Conner will be the lead witnesses at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on immigration reform today.
The hearing on “The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act, S.744,” the proposal from the “gang of eight” senators, will be held at 10 a.m. in Room 216 of the Hart Senate Office Building.
The hearing will also feature three more panels of witnesses from business, labor, church, academic and nonprofit groups.
