Although no official announcements have been made, the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition blogged late last week that the likely Senate conferees “based on the rumor mill” besides Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., would be six other Democrats and five Republicans.

NSAC named the Democrats as Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Tom Harkin of Iowa, Max Baucus of Montana, Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Michael Bennet of Colorado, and the Republicans as Senate Agriculture Committee ranking member Thad Cochran of Mississippi, Pat Roberts of Kansas, Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, John Boozman of Arkansas and John Hoeven of North Dakota.
