The Congressional Budget Office issued a paper Tuesday on the government’s long-term debt.
The paper raised issues about the impact of Social Security and Medicare spending in the future, but did not focus on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which is expected to go down in cost as the economy improves.
