The continuing resolution that the House and Senate passed tonight to reopen the government funds the Agriculture Department and other government agencies through January 15.
But the resolution also contained provisions noting that all entitlements under the 2008 farm bill should be continued “at the rate to maintain programs levels under current law.”
The CR also contains a special provision continuing the Food for Peace Act.
The USDA’s U.S. Forest Service and Interior Department both got special provisions for urgent wildfire suppression.
