National Journal: Gillibrand broadens image

As she has moved from representing an upstate district in the House to being a U.S. senator, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has broadened her image from that of a rural populist to a politician along the lines of her predecessor, former Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., National Journal reports today.
