Michael Klein
The USA Rice Federation has hired Michael Klein as vice president of marketing and communications.

Klein has worked in journalism, on political campaigns and for Rep. Ed Whiftield, R-Ky., and for Sens. Thad Concran, R-Miss., and Connie Mack, R-Fla.

He also worked in media relations for the American Forest & Paper Association and had his own communications consulting business before joining USA Rice.
