Eleven senators led by Sens. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and Tim Johnson, D-S.D., have written farm bill conferees to urge them to maintain the farm program payment limitations and the definition of “actively engaged” in agriculture in the Senate and House bills.

The letter was released by the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition.
