SNAP featured in general newspapers

The future of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, better known as SNAP or food stamps, continues to be a subject of coverage in general interest newspapers.

William Galston, a policy adviser in the Clinton White House who is now a senior fellow at Brookings, wrote an explanatory article on food stamps in The Wall Street Journal today.

Joel Berg, an Agriculture Department official in the Clinton administration who now runs the New York City Coalition Against Hunger explains his views on the food stamp cuts in a long interview in The Washington Post today.
