More than 300 conservation, hunting, fishing and faith-based organizations have written a final letter to farm bill conferees calling for inclusion of the sod buster provision that would discourage farmers from breaking up new ground and the conservation compliance provision that would require farmers receiving federally subsidized crop insurance to comply with federal conservation standards.
The letter was released by the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition.
