McConnell criticizes food stamp spending in farm bill

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., over the weekend criticized the farm bill for emphasizing food stamps over production agriculture, and called for work requirements to be attached to food stamps, The Washington Post reported.
