Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., over the weekend criticized the farm bill for emphasizing food stamps over production agriculture, and called for work requirements to be attached to food stamps, The Washington Post reported.

McConnell made the comments to reporters after a speech to the Kentucky Farm Bureau.
