Mobile slaughter houses revive local meat movement

Mobile slaughter houses backed by the Agriculture Department are now used to butcher chickens on Martha’s Vineyard, lambs and goats in California, buffalo in Nebraska, elk and boar in Texas, turkeys, pheasants and quail in Kentucky and reindeer in Alaska, Bloomberg and Bloomberg Businessweek reported.
