Digital technology has created a “participatory culture” in which people view food and shop differently according to a study released today by The Hartman Group, a Bellevue, Wash. firm.
About 82 percent of smartphone users and 63 percent of non-smartphone users believe technology “has improved how well I eat,“ Hartman said.
The study is for sale, but an excerpt of the executive summary can be viewed online.
