Jeffrey Prieto
The Senate this week confirmed President Barack Obama's nomination of Jeffrey Prieto as the general counsel of the Agriculture Department.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said he looks forward to working with Prieto, noting that he has been principal deputy general counsel since June 2014.

Before that Prieto was with the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division since 1999, most recently as the deputy executive officer and general counsel.
