Farm Aid concert tickets on sale

(Paul Natkin/Photo Reserve, Inc.)Tickets for Farm Aid 30 — the annual concert headlined by Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews — have gone on sale.
The fundraising concert, now in its 30th year, will take place will take place at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago on Saturday, September 19.
In addition to Nelson, Mellancamp, Young and Mathews, the concert will feature performances by:
- Tim Reynolds
- Imagine Dragons
- Jack Johnson
- Kacey Musgraves
- Mavis Staples
- Old Crow Medicine Show
- Holly Williams
- Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real
- Insects vs Robots
- Blackwood Quartet
The music and food festival will also feature family farm-identified, local and organic foods at Farm Aid’s Homegrown concessions and the Homegrown Village, which is described as an opportunity “to experience family farm agriculture.”
Farm Aid says its mission is “to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America,” and that the concerts, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, “has raised $48 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms.”
Ticket prices range from $49.50 to $189.50.
