The Senate Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing on the federal regulation of agriculture biotechnology with perspectives from producers and consumers on Wednesday, October 21, Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts, R-Kan., announced Thursday.
In a sign of the level of interest in the subject, the hearing will be held in Room 106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building rather than the smaller Senate Agriculture Committee hearing room in the Russell Senate Office Building.
