Lane hired for NCBA, Public Lands Council positions

Ethan Lane has been hired for the joint positions of executive director of federal lands for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and executive director of the Public Lands Council, which represents ranchers who hold federal grazing permits and operate on federal lands.
Before coming to PLC and NCBA, Lane served as an adviser for a variety of private companies and industries operating on public lands throughout the West.
Earlier, for 10 years, he helped manage a large real estate and ranch portfolio including more than 500,000 acres in Arizona, which was made up of state, U.S. Forest Service, and U.S. Bureau of Land Management grazing permits.
