USDA announces funding for rural broadband expansion
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced $478.6 million in funding for expansion and improvement of broadband service in rural areas.
The funding will go to 28 telephone utilities in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Illinois, Indiana, Iowas, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
